Hi, it's been a while! Time to do some backspotting from Europe again. On our second visit to this place we finally got to try the fresh anchovies, which had been caught that morning - they were delicious, of course!
Battered sustainable fish, coleslaw, aioli and a bit of chimichurri sauce in a soft spelt taco shell. Absolutely delicious.
Pretty nice - a friend commented that it was the first coconut water she'd had that didn't taste like cardboard!
It takes the kitchen about 20 minutes to prepare this, but boy is it ever worth it! It's basically Korean fried chicken on skewers, so it's sticky, crispy and sweet. Evilhayama said he was full, but then the staff put this in front of us and we ended up going halves XD
Tuna, kingfish and salmon sashimi on a bed of fresh salad with a soy vinaigrette dressing. A great (and healthy) dinner for a sticky hot summer evening! I just wish the dressing had been a little more subtle; the taste of the fish kind of got lost in it.
The side dishes were much more interesting than our last visit - kimchi, broccoli with gochujang, potato salad and jangjorim.
I liked this a lot, but it was a huuuge serving! Would probably be a good entree between 6 or so people.
Wow, this is even better than last time! Loved the hand cut chips, juicy barra and paper thin red onion in the salad.
