Malnati's crust is crispy and buttery, awesome chunky sauce and homemade sausage that spans the entire pie. Phenomenal!

Rueben Sandwich @ Harold's New York Deli Restaurant

    707 U.S. 46 Parsippany, NJ
Good Rueben. I had half pastrami, half corned beef. Both meats had nice flavor, but I think I liked the pastrami better. After you order, hit the pickle bar. The slaw was excellent

  • Salt Burger @ Salt Gastro Pub
    Spotted July 01, 2011
Really nice sophisticated presentation and preparation of comfort foods. Warm Indie/Hipster feel with an nice micro-brew beer list, live entertainment and an eclectic well conceived menu. Where else are you going to find bangers and mash, $2 PBR or cranberry apple cobbler?

  • Spaghetti With Tomato & Basil @ Scarpetta
    Spotted May 23, 2011
You go into Scarpetta expecting so much from this simple Italian classic: Spaghetti w/ Tomato & Basil and then it delivers. Really clean, fresh and simple, but it fools you into thinking/tasting so much more through its delicately balanced layers of flavor and texture. Superbly cooked pasta that evokes emotion (for me, joy) as you twist it on your fork and take small deliberate bites to lengthen the time you get to savor. Fantastic wine list, picked a light bodied fruit forward red from Tuscany to pair with this and the duck.

  • Lamb And Sweet Potato Hash @ Red Rooster
    Spotted May 23, 2011
Lamb was perfectly cooked (MR), lightly buttered and tossed with parsley, sweet potatoes and ,as an interesting offset/compliment to the rich creamy ingredients, pickled beets! Was balanced and playful interpretation on breakfast hash

  • Spaghetti @ Scarpetta
    Spotted May 16, 2011
The taste was fresh and clean. The spaghetti had the perfect amount of chew. Very finely done. We had the organic chicken and spiced duck (MR) beautifully seasoned. I chose a nice fruit forward red with subtle spice to pair with the three, stick to those characteristics to amplify/enhance the complexity of the dishes
