Spotted March 03, 2012Xiaolongbao is a type of steamed bun or baozi from eastern China, especially Shanghai and Wuxi. It is traditionally steamed in small bamboo baskets, hence the name (xiaolong is literally small steaming basket).

Spotted February 25, 2012This is the same everywhere. The best thing about this place is the chopsticks are slightly magnetic. We should have that at home and so when we set the table for dinner our cutlery would at least stick close by to eachother instead of sprawled all over the table!

Spotted December 18, 2011In the US and UK, the phrase dim sum is often used in place of yum cha; in Cantonese, dim sum (點心) refers to the wide range of small dishes, whereas yum cha, or "drinking tea", refers to the entire meal.
