Eating Liege Waffles to show solidarity with my sister who is in Belgium right now! These were a little denser than they should be (the dough looked like sugar cookie dough vs fluffy bread dough) but satisfied the craving nonetheless.
I dub this cuisine Contemporary New Pennsylvanian (because Deviled Ham & Minced Trotter strikes me as something Pittsburghers would like, but it's executed amazingly well).
