Spotted February 01, 2012Today was a perfect day. There is a giant box of Mochi on my desk. Launching #Foodspotting3 was pretty cool too. -
Spotted July 03, 2011Had to join the crowd on a day like this. Seth licked it before I could get a picture.-

Spotted May 23, 2011Heart heart heart! (Foodspotting notes need emoticons.) I love this even more than Lemon Cookie, which is saying a lot! (P.S. No ice cream was harmed in the making of this photo.)-

Spotted February 12, 2011What is this?! Butter-textured ice cream topped with saffron and rose cream and caviar-like basil seeds. Thanks to the person who spotted this first -- wouldn't have tried it otherwise! More about Falooda: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falooda More about Kulfi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kulfi-

Valentina Vitols Next time I'm in SF I will go try this. Visually, it can be a bit challenging but everything it has sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing!Out of the Kitchen Food Adventures This looks awesome! This will definitely be a must-have when we are in the city next.
César Beautiful!

Julie Midway airport in Chicago?!
Alexa Andrzejewski Yes!!! Can you believe it?
Julie no, I can't! Is it in the main food court? I've always preferred Midway to OHare anyhow. Midway has a potbelly, while Ohare does not. Now MDW has Red Mango too! I'll never fly through another chicago airport!

Spotted January 29, 2010Woah, yikes! Not for the faint of heart! Definitely sample this before buying (generous sample cup is shown here) -- it's VERY salty and peppery. -

Spotted November 16, 2009The softest mochi you've ever tried! Served under the name "sweets" with the matcha service.

Spotted December 12, 2009SO good! Maybe as good as Chow's pumpkin ice cream! I don't know if they make it there or who makes it, but it was full of pumpkin (fresh?) and delicious.

Spotted December 02, 2009I've tried pumpkin frozen yogurt at 3 places now -- and this was definitely the most interesting! It's a tangy pumpkin, like pumpkin butter, rather than the creamy pumpkin at Icebee and the super subtle pumpkin at Red Mango. Great yogurt and cozy place! Thanks Patrick for tweeting about Blush today. ;-)-

Spotted November 23, 2009I came here to get pumpkin, but walked out with original! You just can't top it. Why pay more for flavors when this is just so good??? -
-
Spotted November 07, 2009I think this is just as good as Pinkberry -- it has that snow-like icy sheen. I prefer Red Mango because it's less icy and more creamy though. -
-
Spotted November 07, 2009Our favorite simple treat! Self-serve fro-yo from Icebee that comes in all kinds of flavors, including my favorites -- Peach, Mango, Pumpkin, Peanut Butter, Green Tea. It's a little closer to soft-serve ice cream than fro-yo in some ways. It's not the posh expensive kind. It's just a simple, sweet treat. You pay by the ounce, so you can get a teensy bite for under $1. -

krishna lakshmi seriously? how does it taste? savory or sweet?

Spotted October 16, 2009Bourbon and cornflakes and maximum butterfat = sweet overload! This ice cream will make you a little crazy -- it is SO creamy and delicious. -
Spotted August 05, 2009The original Korean chain and still the best! Every other fro-yo has icy bits in it. This is smooth as can be!
-
-
Spotted October 03, 2009Roll your own ice cream sandwich for $1.50! Choose two cookies and a Dreyer's ice cream flavor. This is one of the places LA people stand in line for. It was good, but tasted exactly like you'd expect. :-)
