Spotted January 11, 2012This is one of those things that makes you go "Woah." Saw this on Foodspotting but had no idea it was drizzled with raspberry jam and swiss cheese! If you've ever had Lucky J's in Austin, this chicken and waffle taco by another name will satisfy your cravings until the next SXSW. -
Spotted January 01, 2012Tried a few others but this steakhouse sub with steak sauce is still our favorite by far, especially when we substitute mozzarella sticks for onion rings!-

Spotted September 18, 2011My first Ike's -- I don't even like sandwiches that much but this was definitely something else! The crunch roll was chewy and soft, and it was filled with rib eye, steak sauce and... onion rings!-

Spotted August 04, 2011A roast beef sandwich like I've never seen one before! Melted cheese and grilled peppers. Surprisingly good, and I don't usually like sandwiches.-

Alison Weber I helped eat this and if I recall correctly, besides the meat there were beans, the sprinkled cheese, and plantains? Plus a hot soury sauce we used sparingly.

Spotted May 07, 2011Huuuge chunks of buttery lobster! Definitely among the best I've had. The bread was a bit thicker than Luke's though, making the bread to lobster ratio a little higher than I like. Other Foodspotters liked it better than Luke's though. -

Spotted July 01, 2010Today's special! This was amazing. Hapa Ramen is one of the best things that's happened to the Thursday farmer's market! Juicy, crispy breaded pork, pickles, greens, spicy sauce and hot sauce.-

Spotted May 23, 2010Supposedly the best Lobster Roll in Boston -- served warm and buttery -- thought it could satisfy my insatiable craving for Luke's Lobster... But alas! Nothing compares to Luke's buttery, crustless bread and delicate pulled lobster!-

Spotted November 27, 2009Gourmet grilled cheese -- with gruyere perhaps? Or some slightly more stinky cheese? Really good bread -- so thick and buttery. Naturally leaves you feeling a little heavy. Good to split!-

Alison Weber This sandwich is to die for and a walk through Wholey's is always entertaining in terms of seeing the many kinds of fresh fish there and experiencing a real slice of the 'burgh!' At the back of the market, you'll find a staircase to a step-back-in-time kind of barebones eating area that finishes off the experience. May sound uninteresting, but trust me, it's great! Lots of Wholey memorabilia to explore too.

Spotted September 28, 2009This is the first place I think to take out of town visitors to Berkeley! Brazil Cafe can be found in a colorful shack on University Avenue, and here you can get not only an AMAZING sandwich (I can't help but always get the Tri-Tip) but an amazing experience! -
