Spotted January 07, 2012This sounded like a glutinous rice expert's dream come true, but it was a bit too shrimpy for my tastes! Texture was amazing though. Seth liked it. -
Spotted October 07, 2011Pan fried pork buns with chewy crispy bottoms -- nothing like the soup buns at Shanghai Flavor Shop in Sunnyvale but hold their own nonetheless. You can't eat too many though, they're greasy!-

V I was just inside the SOMA Grand and passed by and realized that Heaven's Dog was right there! And had I realized that it was still open, I totally would have dropped by for a taste, but alas, my reaction time wasn't fast enough. It's funny that you posted this right after I missed that opportunity.

Spotted August 02, 2009I would drive down to the South Bay just to get these pork buns. One of my favorite cheap eats in the Bay Area, they're chewy on the outside, soupy on the inside and flavorful all around. There's really nothing like it!-
