As you know, OpenTable acquired Foodspotting in 2013, not only for its amazing content, but also for its incredibly loyal and engaged community. Since then, you’ve been instrumental in how friends and experts alike discover the best dishes across the world, and for that, we just want to say thank you.

But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. After much deliberation, we have chosen to discontinue the Foodspotting app and website in early May. If you’d like to keep all the photos you’ve captured over the years, we encourage everyone to take this opportunity to download your content. Click here for details

On behalf of our entire team, thank you again for using our product and for all the feedback you’ve provided along the way–we couldn’t have done it without you. If you have any questions or concerns, let us know and we’ll be sure to follow up directly.

  • Spot & Give: World Food Programme

Everyone knows we eat pretty well and are fortunate for the fact that we can, but that doesn't mean we forget there's hunger in the world. To that end, we're excited to team up with World Food Programme in their social media initiative, WeFeedback, the world's largest community for sharing food and changing lives in the fight against hunger.

We had such a great experience with the Holiday Spotathon that we're excited to get the help of our community in another initiative to give back. According to WeFeedback, the cost of your typical burger can feed 40 kids, so our goal is to feed 10,000 by working together. Starting today, uploading a sighting might mean that you'll see a little prompt inviting you to join us in reaching our goal. Take a look and if you're so inclined, donate a few dollars to help us get there.

Visit our WeFeedback donation page directly, in case you were interested in giving but haven't gone out to eat in a while - because we know very well sometimes that happens :)

Team Foodspotting signing out and, as always, wishing you happy spottings!

10,000 children for 2,500 seems so doable, right? We're so excited to be working with the @WFP!

this function doesn't seem to work for me... get the "you've recommended ... " message with a huge white space below - no wfp cup or text... just my app, or a general issue?

Hi Graham. Are you using iPhone or Android? It's only triggered by a subset of our dishes. Beer works, but I see you spotted a beer that we don't have in our system "mmm, good beer here". Try just "beer" or the specific type of beer.

Generally, whenever the concept of “natural enhancement” of sex, sexual health and performance comes to our minds, we always think of herbs, supplements and ingredients that are well-known to improve libido, act as aphrodisiacs and are free from any side or adverse effects. This, however, is not the complete side of the picture. There are, in fact, several natural (and dietary) ingredients that, when consumed on regular basis, can lead to reduced sexual activity, decreased libido and even, sometimes, complete male impotency (erectile dysfunction).
