I've been experimenting with a homemade triple-sec using kumquat as its base. Been employing it in simple drinks such as this one: Appleton Rum, Lemon Hart 151, kumquat liqueur (kumquatreau), Fee Bros Old Fashioned bitters.
Nathan Weber did a Japanese Hard Shake number on this one. Gin, Lemon, Lime, Saffron Sharbat, Egg White, Sandalwood powder.
The aroma is so fragrant, and amazing texture on the foam and overall drink.
Finally scored one of these oft-soldout bad boys. This one had a nice raspberry surprise inside. Sweet potato, chocolate, cinnamon, Okinawan brown sugar.
