Freaky interior BUT very elegant and tasty!

I've never had food like this...it was quite a delicious and different experience. We got there, apparently, after the lunch rush and didn't have to wait. The waiter explained everything and how to eat it...we'll definately be back!!

Dragged James to the Sweet Home Cafe for a late night dinner. Had to wait 23 minutes for a table but the wait was worth it. Shared a table with another nice couple and had a wonderful dinner. Had the mushroom broth, which was too mushroom-y for us, and added way too many veggies and stuff, but was still excellent. ...then, we added desert.

5/1/10 - Being from the mainland, some of the foods offered in Hawaii are quite different (just like this soup) but it was quite YUMMY!! However, the bones got in the way and made is more of a 'hands-on' dish. It would have been so much better if the meat was deboned...and served with cornbread instead of rice (but that's the southern in me)
