OMG! Super favorable! Not your typical chicken on National Fried Chicken Day but it's what I chose...mmmm

Served with a side of rice and mac salad...yum. Ask for a side of fried gau gee and a soda for a fabulous meal at reasonable prices.

...for a lighter dinner, ask to ordered from the LUNCH MENU. If you're trying to cut carbs, as to substitute the pasta for a side of broccoli...mmmm

After going by Alicia's Market for some poke, I made my way to Sugoi, not realizing I had been here before, about 2 years ago, with Matthew Grey's Food Tour. I wasn't impressed with the Garlic Chicken...and still not. After reading the reviewes on www.yelp.com and those placed here, I decided to try a bento plate with the garlic chicken...maybe it would be better than I remember?? Nope, not so for me. However, my carnivore son LOVED it (he's all about the meat and carbs!!) Before I knew it, he was licking the bento plate clean!!! I must say that I was very impressed with the amount of food for the money. For about $10, you got garlic chicken, teriacky beef, and hot dog with a load of white rice AND a drink...the bag alone was amazingly heavy.

You can choose a 2-side, 3-side, or 4-side with a starch (rice, noodles, etc) and they offered a variety of Dim Sum and desserts. Today, we paired our ORANGE CHICKEN with FRIED RICE and WALNUT SHRIMP....yummmm

another NOT favorite! Fried chicken on top of white, steamed rice, swimming in a curry gravy. Saw people practically licking their plates but this just didn't appeal to me. If this dish hadn't been part of the charity listing, would never have ordered it...

Luckily, we got there and didn't have to wait at all. We placed our orders and waited patiently while listening to the conversations around us...which were very, very loud. Luckily, our food came out quickly and we dug in... We started with a basket of popcorn chicken and fries. These were super yummy!! Cocktail sause would have enhanced the flavors but they didn't carry it; instead, it was served with a side of ketchup and ranch dressing.
