I'm sorry...couldn't do it!! Hamberger patty with a scoop of rice and runny, fried egg on top and covered with gravy is just a heart-attack waiting to happen...and, I couldn't stomach it!! Had to grab a picture of another customer. However, I did try a small Korean Chicken plate with rice and mac salad (greasy)...do these people not know what a vegatable is??

5/1/10 - Being from the mainland, some of the foods offered in Hawaii are quite different (just like this soup) but it was quite YUMMY!! However, the bones got in the way and made is more of a 'hands-on' dish. It would have been so much better if the meat was deboned...and served with cornbread instead of rice (but that's the southern in me)

I ordered the ANTIDOTE and husband ordered the CHICKEN PARMASEAN burgers...super yum!! and excellent service. Fresh ingredents and quality meat makes a wonderful burger. PLUS, the sweet potatoe fries were also yummy!! I'll definately be back...

Being from the mainland and not raised on this type of foods, I find Foodspotting has openned me up to new cultures and tastes of food (some good and some not-so-good). Meat jin is one of those foods...very interesting taste and texture (if just slightly greasy) but served with heaps of rice and some interesting sides I've never had before. Very yummy AND filling!! Enough to share for two!! Don't let the outside or inside of this small building fool you...it's so worth it!!
