HK style chicken rice. Merely OK. A bit dry and lacking collagen.

Tender, Boneless meat and flavourful rice and broth. Nice dipping combination. You may ask for the dark soya that is traditionally served with it.

One of the Best in town. (The best was at the late lamented Prima Taste). Tender meat, large portion, very good rice and dipping sauce. They make their own dark sweet soya. Very good.

Perfectly serviceable HCR at the Food Court at Crystal Mall. Better than most full restaurants. Tender meat, good dipping sauce and rice.

An HK Cafe's take on Chicken Rice...not very good. Tough, dense chicken, and over cooked rice.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall in Richmond BC. Perhaps the most inexpensive HCR in the GVA. The broth, unfortunately, tastes more like ginger tea than flavoured Chicken stock. The Chicken is OK...the Rice is fine. No Dark Soya, however.

One of the city's best Hainan Chicken. They don't serve it with the requisite dark sweet soya, unfortunately, but the chicken, ginger dipping sauce, the rice and the broth are all very good.
