Spotted November 18, 2009Great Kalbi - shot prior to BBQing. It shows off the nice variety of banchan. One of the best places to get Korean food close to the city center. Otherwise you are driving out to Coquitlam - the center of Korean cuisine in the GVA. -
Spotted November 18, 2009Filipino Peanutty Oxtail Stew. Served with a lovely and pungent bagoong (fermented shrimp paste) for authenticity.-
Samuel Moehring What a sight for sore eyes---I love this stuff!

Spotted November 17, 2009One of my favourite burgers in town - the Market Special. Grilled and served in nice fresh buns. They use mustard in their list of condiments. The fries are very nice too - small wedges, puffed and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Spotted November 06, 2009The Best Beef Rendang in the city. Most authentic - not watered down for local palates at all. Pungent, Deep and Spicy.

Alexa Andrzejewski Wow, I have never had Malaysian food. Is it more like Southeast Asian or more like Subcontinental/Indian food??
Fernando Medrano It is right in the middle, though perhaps leaning closer to SE Asian - it has the pungent fermented seafood flavours from SE Asia and it has the curry spices for the Subcontinent. A great, and underrepresented cuisine in North America.

Spotted November 06, 2009This is an excellent dish. Cold Five Spice Beef rolled in a flakey hand made wrap. Hoisin-based sauce. Excellent and not to be missed. A bit oily for some folks, but I love it.

Spotted November 06, 2009Tender beef slices in a magma pool of ground Sichuan peppercorn, dried chilies, chili oil, and water. A classic and definitive Sichuan dish. It will make you sweat for days after.
