Spotted May 26, 2010Their chicken broth is light, but flavourful – and very nearly transparent in its clarity. It is also quite light in salt. I do not detect that “round” MSG flavour that so many bowls of pho in this town exhibit.-
YVRFood Their fried chicken on the side of this dish is fabulous too!about 1 year ago.

Spotted March 05, 2010Lately, I’m finding the soup to be off somehow, much more watery and with a greater incorporation of oil for some reason. It used to have a bolder, beefier flavour that I enjoyed but no longer. Not sure if things have changed in the kitchen or if this was an off-batch or not. In contrast the fresh fragrance coming from the cilantro seemed to be boosted up though.-

Spotted February 04, 2010Had asked for rare sliced beef in mine, but it came out fully cooked. Broth was not great, not sure what the fuss is all about as this is a popular place.-

Spotted November 17, 2009Of all the dishes in Chinese-Korean cuisine, the wheat noodles slathered in a savory soybean-based sauce with chopped vegetables and small bits of beef that is better known as jajangmyeon, is probably what comes top of mind. The sauce and toppings appear on top of the noodles for presentation purposes, but its important to mix it all together – much like you do with bibimbap.-

Spotted November 17, 2009Great texture of the rice noodles struck me first. The potent flavours of those distinctive Thai ingredients that makes Pad Thai such a satisfying dish were laid out and integrated together throughout. Throw in the couple pieces of prawns to give it some more volume and taste.-

Spotted November 16, 2009The soup was a deep rich color, flavorful, with obvious tints of cilantro and what seemed to be a picked cabbage of some sort, finely chopped. -

Spotted November 16, 2009Probably the most popular and favoured bowl of ramen in this city. Select your fat level in both your chashu and broth. -

Spotted November 16, 2009Refreshing summer-only special menu item. Cool noodles topped with mixed seafood and vegetables, and boosted with a soy-based dressing. -
