Eat Real Fest Foodspotting Dishcrawl

Are you coming to the Eat Real Fest (http://eatrealfest.com/) at Jack London Square, Oakland, CA, August 27-29th?

Download the Foodspotting iPhone app or bring your digital camera along to participate in the official Eat Real Food Scavenger Hunt, brought to you by Eat Real Fest, Dishcrawl (http://www.dishcrawl.com) and Foodspotting!

You can participate throughout the festival (August 27-29th), but if you'd like to meet other Foodspotters and Dishcrawlers, we'll be meeting at the giant telescope on the boardwalk next to Scott's Restaurant at 1pm sharp on Saturday the 28th to participate in the hunt together! RSVP here if you're planning to attend, so we can get a tentative headcount (but feel free to show up if you don't RSVP).

To participate in the scavenger hunt:

1. Follow this guide on Foodspotting.
2. As you explore the festival, take pictures of foods that you best think match the categories suggested in this guide. The more funny, interesting or ironic, the better!
3. Upload your photos by clicking "Spot it!" next to the items in the Foodspotting iPhone app, or from guide page on the Foodspotting website. (http://www.foodspotting.com/guides/259/)

To win the scavenger hunt:

4. After the festival, we'll invite the crowd to vote "Great shot!" on their favorite photos for each category. Vote for photos here:

5. On Saturday, September 4, we'll pick the winning photo for each category based on the number of "Great shot!" votes.
5. Whoever has the MOST winning photos will win the grand prize: a goodie bag put together by Foodspotting, Dishcrawl and Eat Real!

In the event of a tie, we'll use number of "Great shot!" votes on your winning photos as a tiebreaker. In the event of low voter turnout or cheating, the Foodspotting & Dishcrawl teams will pick the winners for each category.

Foodspotting will contact you via email and the prize will be mailed or delivered.
