Nothing makes me more upset then seeing a dining guide to Maui that is filled with unaffordable resturants. Local folks need to treat themself to a afforable meal too, right? Treating yourself to an affordable enjoyable meal on Maui to doable. You just have to look.... This list is for both locals and visitors on a budget, but who want a affordable dining experience.

Sushi @ Genki Sushi USA Inc: Maui Mall

A Hawaii favorite. Spend as much or as little as you want. The sushi travels around the resturant on a conveyer belt for you to pick up on your own, then you pay per plate. For this spotting take a picture of your plate with the conveyer belt in the background.

Located at the enternce of Paia... this is one of my favorite restaurants. For this spooting we need a pic of the wonderful Mopsy's Kalua Pork pizza (12 inch $14.50 feeds two). Smoked pork shoulder, organic mango BBQ sauce, red onions, Maui pineapple, local goat cheese, mozzarella and parmesan cheese

Breakfast potatoe skins @ Fred's Mexican Cafe

I prefer breakfast at Fred's more than any other meal. The prices are better, the view of Kamole 2 beach park seems to be more breath taking. The pancakes and breakfast fries are really good. My fav is the breakfast potatoe skins (filled with scramble eggs,bacon,cheese) ... for this sighting we need a picture of the potatoe skins

A great treat in HappyTown, Maui. For this visit a pic of any crepe will be acceptable cause they are so good. May I suggest the Ham/Gruyere crepe or Chicken Curry Wrap. For dessert try the Nutella or Banana/Chocolate crepe

Great place! Your goal for this pic is 2 sliders and a beer. I suggest the Bacon and Blue and the Hawaiian sliders ($5 each). Also have Maui Cattle Comp beef and Kalua pork sliders ($4 each) Beers reg $5.00 (happy hour 3-6,9-12 $4.00 beers)
