A great wine bar with chicken liver mousse, bacon frise salad and a rotating menu of other seasonal ingredients. Happy hour is a great deal and the owners organize private tasting./ pairing menus on a regular basis ( sign up for the email newsletter for more info). Parking is rough in LG but this place is worth it.

A huge sushi spot with lots of variety. I love the sashimi tuna salad, cherry blossom roll, godzilla roll and the albacore sashimi is to die for. Big screen TVs allow the guys to watch the game. And there are fruity girly cocktails to boot.

We used to cater in this Cambodian food at the Mercury News for working lunches. That's back when newspapers had money and when they spent it, they spent it right.

Nothing better than a bacon cheeseburger stuffed with chees on the inside. You will (seriously) burn your lip if you just bite in after it's served. Biter beware!!!

Super margaritas and general deliciousness. Packaed at lunch due to google and linkedin employees who don't want their free lunch. Great spot before hitting a movie at Mtn View Century theatre.

Every entree comes with your choice of swedish pancakes, pancakes or hash browns. Go for the swedish! Delicious ...and the bacon is nice and crispy too. Neighborhood restaurant joint that is simply PACKED on Sundays.

Love their bbq sauce. Even has an entertaining model train that curves around the track near the ceiling. I don't know about their sign though...a pig eating a pig? LOL.

This used to be a favorite spot for business lunch until it ONLY started serving dinner. their fresh fare is hand picked by the chef at the farmer's market. Their gourmet burger changes based on available ingredients, but you can always count on it to be delicious.

This menu is huge. Lots of fresh seafood and excellent entrees. My favorite is the parmesan crusted halibut or tilapia. Good garlic butter spread to boot.

La Fondue - what isn't great about cheese, rare meats and chocolate? Reservations are very necessary because you'll be eating for 2 hours!

Bills = breakfast. With three locations I find the Bascom one is the fastest to get in and out of. The willow glen location is always packed with hipsters trying to get drunk on mimosas ( move over your darn self - I need bacon!). My fav dishes are: crab cake benedict, SBC scramble, parisianne french toast. But really everything is delicious.

Inside it looks like a weird chinese diner, but they have one of my favorite apps ( appetizers not iphone apps) ....chicken in foil. Good chinese food that is fresh and low on sodium.

This is where you splurge. If you want to give Peter Luger's a run for their money this is the dry aged spot. Also famous appetizer that is adored - hamachi shots - so good going down. Trust me it's worth the 5 bills for a family of 4.

Two restaurants on the same street (Winchester) with the same name? Yes - there are debates on which is better. Either way...the thai iced tea is excellent and the pad thai or pineapple rice is delicious. Great for lunch. Parking is limited and the lot is one way in and out, so peek in before you pull into the lot.

Good selection of wines by the glass and small plates. Menu changes regularly but the cheese plate is always good.
