As you know, OpenTable acquired Foodspotting in 2013, not only for its amazing content, but also for its incredibly loyal and engaged community. Since then, you’ve been instrumental in how friends and experts alike discover the best dishes across the world, and for that, we just want to say thank you.

But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. After much deliberation, we have chosen to discontinue the Foodspotting app and website in early May. If you’d like to keep all the photos you’ve captured over the years, we encourage everyone to take this opportunity to download your content. Click here for details

On behalf of our entire team, thank you again for using our product and for all the feedback you’ve provided along the way–we couldn’t have done it without you. If you have any questions or concerns, let us know and we’ll be sure to follow up directly.

2009年より運営してまいりました Foodspotting ですが、2018年5月上旬をもちましてサービスを終了させていただくこととなりました。

Pok Pok Drinking Vinegar at Publican Quality Meats

There are hot sauces (including Bill Kim’s), tons of vinegars, Rick Bayless salsas, periodicals such as David Chang’s Lucky Peach…it’s like a miniature (and more indie) Dean & Deluca in here. The foodiest find has to be Pok Pok Drinking Vinegar, a cult product from Portland that’s almost impossible to find in Chicago.

McClure's Garlic-Dill Pickle Potato Chips at Bread & Wine in Chicago, IL

Bread & Wine isn’t just a restaurant—it’s also a brand of snacks: Granola, basil-and-lime shortbread and rosemary–sea salt almonds are a few of the products it makes and packages itself. Don't leave without a bag of McClure’s Garlic-Dill Pickle Potato Chips (who knew?)

Organic Strawberry-Basil Preserves at Baker & Nosh in Chicago, IL

The grocery section of Baker & Nosh is the third and most modest component of the new shop (the first two components, in order of prominence, are the shop’s bakery/café and its cheese case). Ask for a sample of these sweet and savory preserves from Michigan’s Food for Thought at the bakery counter.
