Russian dumplings with pork. To me, it tasted like a really freaking good chinese dumpling that I dip in sour cream instead of soy sauce, so I'm not too sure if it's supposed to taste significantly different. It's damn good here though.

The fried dough on the outside is a pastry dough sort of like those meat pies from Portos...but inside is seasoned ground pork. The sour cream and hot sauce combo on top of this thing was magical. Oh man, too bad its a fatty fried food.

The name sounds cooler than fermented bread drink, so lets go with that. I really loved this drink..it was unlike anything I've ever tried. It was slightly sweet, extremely thirst quenching, and had a hint of this sort of tamarindy or chinese-dried-plumy ryey thing going for it. Obviously, you'll have to try it to know what I'm talking about.

This was pretty good but a little pricey. The waitresses aren't so attentive but the view is amazing.

A good supplement if the soba isn't enough to fill you. The triangle shape reminds me of Japanese 7-11's.

Reminded me of my mom's home cooking. True home style Taiwanese food here..this bowl of rice with pork and "tea egg" comes with most meals I believe.

I like this one because it isn't very sweet like they normally are.

What's awesome about this crispy noodle birds nest is that when the noodles become moist, they don't become soggy, but rather perfectly soft. The sauce is awesome..unlike anything I've ever really had at a Vietnamese restaurant. This dish goes well with chicken, pork, or seafood (I got the combo one and tried them all). Nom it!

Raw egg dropped into a bowl of hot soba and seaweed. It isn't the 15th day of the 8th month of the traditional Japanese lunisolar calendar, but I don't care I'll eat this any day of the year. This authentic hole-in-the-wall in Old Torrance is a must-eat soba shop. Replace soba with udon and hot with cold on most dishes.

One of the better pho broths I've had. I'd go back for more.
