Spotted January 16, 2011Tofu is MADE at your table. No joke. Nice final dish to calm your palate. Served with kim chee and dashi broth. Delicious.-
Yogirom Tableside tofu...impressive! I've heard mixed reviews on Morimoto Waikiki. How would you rate it and is it worth it?
Nathan Kam We wanted something more "mild" to end our meal...everything so flavorful...so we ordered the tofu. Didn't realize it was made table side. Pretty neat. Overall, I really enjoyed Morimoto Waikiki. Food was solid. Service was awesome. And the food comes flying out of the kitchen...so if you're in a hurry, you can eat fairly quickly. But it's definitely a special occasion kind of place for me. It is expensive but worth a visit. However, for more frequent grinds, I would hit up other izakaya in town.
