In season. Tastes like a cross between a persimmon and avpear. Best served chilled...with a side of vodka martini up ;-)
With brown rice. We shared this for lunch. Nice dish with fresh ingredients and good flavors.

The charsiu was melt in mouth tender with garlic flavor. Wonderful Fukuoka style broth and velvety ramen noodles.
With Maui onions and chili flakes. On the spicy side but really good.
Grilled and served with a red wine reduction and marinated pineapple cubes.
In a beurre blanc with fried capers. Loved the sauce
