It's moist, cinnamon raisin bread baked in custard that they usually smother in bourbon sauce. I don't like bourbon sauce asked them to hold it. The bread pudding is very sweet so thinking sans sauce is better anyway. Oh and it's warm so get some vanilla ice cream.
Straight up ahi tuna appetizer ... Just "meh." Peppered and seared which would have been fine (esp. with ginger soy glaze) but they drizzled some kind of mayo goop on top.
So the calamari on the menu is served fried. I mentioned to the waiter I preferred it sautéed. As the kitchen wasn't too busy, they whipped this up. Prepared in lemon, white wine, butter (scampi like) with a nice kick of pepper and garlic. AMAZING.
Such a treat.
Hard to say which is my favorite part because I just love 'em all! For the record it's striped bass, albacore, Arctic char and scallops
