En croute d'ail persil (garlic parsely), served with broccoli clafoulis. Perfect.
Rabit leg with dried fruits on it, served with julienne sliced potatoes and a apple/onion compote. Second time we're visiting In The Two Angels, this is the best 'cuisine familiale de terroir' you can imagine.
Cherry ice cream, creme caramel, strawberries with whipped cream, espresso. Great conclusion of an unforgettable lunch.
Another complete lunch plate, prepared by the wife of the couple running this lovely bistrot de pays. It consist of 'saussoun' (a kind of tapenade with fennel and almond powder), estouffade de boeuf (beef and potatoes) and three cheeses. Superbe!

Limans is a small ancient village of a few hundred inhabitants, north of Forcalquier in Provence. Here is another Bistrot de Pays. Food passionists, keep this in mind if you love honest food. Recently we had a food scandal in The Netherlands. All kind of food products contained horse meat while beef was mentioned in the ingredients lists. Funny to see horse meat is quite common in this French region. In fact in this restaurant tey have two steak haches. But who knows they serve beef when you order horse ;-) ? Anyway, great taste, and the sauce aux cepes(porcini) was very intense.
Delicious folded crepe. This place is 3rd in the Tripadvisor ranking. Okay food, but touristic setting
