August 2009. A young, ambitious, and hungry woman leaves Los Angeles, a corporate advertsing gig and everything she had previously known to work on an organic farm in Las Alpujarras, a mountain region of Granada, Spain. She spends a month harvesting almonds and figs from the countryside and mingling with the locals in a village of 200 residents. This introduction to "Spain" will change the course of her life, her priorities and desire to remain abroad.
