Few things make me mad in this world: Ambivilance toward others. Amoral rationalisations. & delis that report to be NY-style but wouldn't know what NY-style is if they got mugged by a guy in an I <3 NY tshirt. TJ's Deli is one of those places that makes me so mad. For some reason, the deli calls this a bagel w/cream cheese. I had to ask where is the cream cheese? & don't get me started on the ridiculous slices of tomato. I just paid 2.50 for slices of bread. !! So, TJ's, here is me, showing you some NY: i will never go to your deli again.
I was robbed. Straight up, NY-style mugged. I just paid $13 for a wedge salad that I had to *cut my own ingredients*. Not kidding. Everything come raw on the plate doused in BC dressing a crumble. You have to do all the prep work & then you get to eat the salad. I guess this is what Mitt Romney means when he says real Americans have to work for their food, no handouts. Um, and there was no bacon on the salad. But I could add BBQ chix or steak for another $9/$11, respectively. Welcome to NY, suckers.
