The icing on this cupcake is sheer perfection.

This beef kafta was great atop rice with lentils. The spices were perfect. I had hoped to have chipotle hummus this time, but the spinach/feta hummus is a nice substitute. The cabbage salad was delectable!

The name says it all!

I love this soup! Craig introduced me to it when we were here on a house-hunting trip back in the spring. The Greek side salad with Lemon Otis dressing and grilled chicken is equally wonderful.

I seldom order burgers in restaurants, but this was my craving after a grueling workout yesterday. It was quite yummy, but I had to "tap out", as my boys would say. I could only finish half of it. The side Greek salad was wonderful!

Craig and I loved this soup so much that we returned a couple of hours later for more.

Maybe it was the warm weather that I've missed since being in Pittsburgh; or the birds frolicking as we sat on the patio of the cafe; or the wonderful sight of my handsome husband across the table from me; or the horrible airplane food options... but I really enjoyed this sandwich and the fruit salad that accompanied it.

Of course, my iPhone is old and takes awful photos, but I just had to capture this. My husband had this on a recent visit to Iovino's and let me taste it. I was ruined! We've been craving more ever since, and finally made it there to get it this evening. It's excellent, and I highly recommend it.

This was perfectly done, although I think that mangoes would have outdone the apples. Still, it was quite pleasant. I requested the marinade from an asian chicken dish to have on the side with this, just because I like to dress things up and have it my way. :-) The mashed sweet potato was also perfect, and the broccoli was nice and crisp. I must also mention that the service and atmosphere were very nice. Our hostess answered our thank-you with, "It's my pleasure," rather than the trite, "No problem!" that usually comes from some flighty youth who's only there for spending money. It's the little things...
