I definitely could not go past this when I saw it on the menu. This consisted of sliced layers of vanilla bean ice cream, caramel fudge and baklava nuts. Absolutely a favourite! I love nuts, caramel and ice cream, and combining everything into one dessert could not go wrong with me. Wish there was more =[ I may or may not have used my birthday wish on more of this dessert...

Pappardelle pasta with lamb that had been cooked for 8 hours. The handmade pasta was like nothing I had ever had before! The texture and chew of it was amazing! The sauce was mild but the flavours were clean. Even though I generally dislike lamb, I really really enjoyed this! Sorry about the picture quality. The lighting was very dim and difficult, but very romantic.

Amedei gianduia chocolate crema, salty caramel gelato and Italian meringue. We were told to dip our spoons alllll the way to the bottom to get all the layers. It was soooo dreamily delicious. The sweetness of the hazelnut chocolate layer was balanced out by the lighter cream meringue. It was just heaven in the mouth!

Oh soft pillowy, melt-in-the-mouth goodness. This was absolutely divine! The sauce was light so that the gnocchi didn't feel heavy to consume [as it often does, being so carby]. So dreamy! Sorry, again, about the terrible picture quality. ><

  Lil OH MY GOSH. WHAT DID FOODSPOTTING DO TO MY IMAGE? I've never seen such horrendous oversaturation. Please click on the image to have a look. Although the image quality is still poor, it is still a better reflection of what the dish looks like. The thumbnail does the dish so much injustice!

  Lil @Fox W; I wonder what they do to the images though? Sometimes they do look a tad better, but this thumbnail had to be the worst I'd ever seen. Not that my uploaded image was thaaat much better, but at least it didn't look like radioactive potatoes!

  Fox W I wonder about that ,too. And when I upload pictures from my computer, the website crops the photo automatically, unlike when upload from mobile app, you can crop the pictures yourself. I always have to keep that in mind when I food spot with my camera .....

  Lil @Fox W; ahh I'm a little lazy with the cropping thing >< [you can tell from some of my pictures, especially the drink ones]. It'd be good if FS had a basic inbuilt photo editing function! Just to crop pictures and maybe adjust brightness/contrast.

Slices of salami on top of a bed of polenta. I found this entree to be a bit strange. Not quite sure if I liked the polenta, although my only other point of reference is the polenta at Cafe Sopra. The other entrees I saw on other tables looked a bit more appetising. Sorry about the photo quality ><

This is one of my favourite dishes!! I love crab in clay pot. This crab was tender and juicy. The vermicelli soaked up all the sauce. Some might prefer the crab to have a little more sauce and thus prefer noodles because it soaks up less sauce, but I love my sauce-soaked vermicelli too much!
