Spotted November 08, 2009Perhaps my favorite cupcake in the world. It's called "Pretty in Pink." Strawberry buttercream frosting on strawberry cake. I love these so much, I had a bunch of them at my wedding. (And the other cupcakes at Love at First Bite are great, too. The best cupcakery in the Bay Area, if not the country.)-

peterme Inside it's like a ... creamy almond paste. There's a delightful element of crunch. And just damned good flaky buttery croissant pastry.
