Hands down THE best Malaysian eatery in Melbourne. Why so? Because the owner chef used to be a hawker from the Pudu area in Kuala Lumpur. And thank God for Malaysia's discriminatory practices, this guy upped and left good old KL and settled into good old Melbourne for his kids' education (yes the minority ethnic groups are discriminated against in university places and great many other things)... so people like me get to enjoy GREAT Malaysian food right here...!! :D Let me see, this Kangkong dish is 'wok breathed' into perfection, with great amounts of sambal belachan and dried shrimp. The Kangkong itself is tender and the leaves soak up all the great flavour from the super authentic sauce. Pass the rice, please.
