FINALLY found some ramen I can fall in love with in the Bay Area! I was SO lucky to get the last bowl of Miso Ramen tonight (they sold out around 7:30pm), because even compared to the Pork Ramen, it was *incredibly* rich, thick and amazing. No wonder people say that Santa Ramen is in a class of its own! It was as good as Ippudo in New York (as was the equally as good stewed kurobuta pork belly on the side) and the broth was as good as the ramen I had in Tokyo. I don't know if it was just that the last bowl of broth was the richest, but I'll certainly be back to see! And though you still can't beat the Tsukemen Noodles I had there, these were certainly the right chewy texture. So thankful it was as good as it was hyped up to be!
Randy F. When we add comments, do the foodspots go to the front page now? This Alpha has been great....I'm going to forward to two Yelp contacts who are huge photobugs...8 months ago.
Alexa Andrzejewski Hi Randy! No, it doesn't work quite like that... yours were popping to the front page because I was trying to edit the place so they're all at the same Santa Ramen, but to no avail. :-(8 months ago.Randy F. I know you're a fan of Santa, Alexa.....I've heard that Santa Ramen is opening a 2nd shop in their original location. It's called Ramen Dojo and will serve a spicy ramen style only. Opening on 4/8. Prob worth checking out!5 months ago. -
