Crummy weather means it's a perfect day for a great bowl of soup. There is an enormous portion of gelatinous beef tendon, skinny noodles, and noodley wontons with pork and shrimp in a nice, rich broth. I like to adda bit of chili oil to really open up the flavors.
Really delicious, broth that is made even better by the addition of some chili oil with an huge amount of large chunks of beef tendon that just melt in your mouth with a seemingly never-ending amount of skinny egg noodles. There's also many big, noodley wontons loaded with crispy shrimp. Perfect dish for the cold day.
