Kouign Amman
This may be the best thing I have ever eaten. It is described as "flaky and tender bread with caramelized layers." I had a gazpacho along with it - instead of the awesome sounding sandwiches - since I figured the DKA as the signature pastry would be the best dish to gain a ton of calories with. Strategic eating that paid off; c'est incroyable, un petit gout de Paris.

I wasn't sure I'd be impressed with this, but how wrong I was... The DKA was kind of a perfectly sweetened mini croissant.
This is like a caramelized croissant. Amazing.
Light, crispy, goodness with a touch of sweet crunchy toffee. Mmmm.
