YVRFood Nice wrappers. Was the meat ok inside? I've tried them twice there and the meat was a bit gristly.
Pen The meat texture I found was alright. Very juicy, although a tad on the salty side. Thought the ones from Dinesty had an even more delicate wrapper. Overall, not bad!
YVRFood I have to visit Dinesty. I like the ones at Wang's and at The Place as well as Shanghai River....
Debs I like Chen's in Richmond the best and also long's on main street. Dinesty is pretty good too although can't say it's the best there. -
These Xiao Long Bao are legendary among my friends that had them when we first visited Vancouver. I'm happy to report they're even better than I remembered. I ate a whole order myself as an afternoon snack and got another order to go. Don't forget to try the black sesame rice ball soup for dessert!

I've tried a lot of XLB, including the "best" in San Francisco, but nothing has compared to these! The skin was the perfect thickness and texture. I haven't found anything like it!
Randy F. Looks amazing! I never had a chance to have great xiao long bao in Vancouver (was too busy eating all the other food). Will have to try this place! My favorite xiao long bao places are still Ding Tai Fung and Joe's Shanghai.....the photos are too blurry to post to Foodspotting! BTW I'm having a lot of fun with your site!
