Chocolate chip pancake cake, maple syrup icing, mini chocolate chips on top

Exactly what it says it is: a choco chip pancake (flavor and texture) condensed to the size of a quarter. Makes me so nostalgic of childhood sleepovers when my friend's parents would serve us this favorite morning treat.

Chris Meng - what flavors did I try? What flavors did I NOT try??? I think I had like 6 different flavors that day, pancake, cookies and cream, cookie dough, PB&J, Red Velvet, and possibly the special. Drooool. And I love that it is a hole in the wall. And don't get me started on Donut Plant! (ps - ok I lied, you are WAY cuter hahah shhhhhh!)

Meng You're in China? I'm so jealous—I'm surprised these cupcakes don't pale in comparison to all the Chinese pastries you're surrounded by. Where in China are you, and how come no foodspottings yet? Let's see it! Get off the computer and go eat...then don't forget to come back and show us so we can all ogle! :)

Chris LOL trust me, I take tons of pics of the food in China but probably couldn't properly name them. And I just got on FS. Still not sure how it works haha. And I am getting of the computer cause it's time for bed! I am in Chang'an right now, near Shenzhen, as well as Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Dongguan, and I just visited Macau and turned $70 into $1000 on roulette haha. Lots more cupcakes for me!! And hey, you want to come? No problem haha get your passport and your Mandarin ready! Kuaidian!! (oh btw are you from teh future? because you seem to be spotting food in November 2011 - amazing.....)
