This dish was so fun to eat with a mini shovel. It was served with osetra caviar, sour cream, wasabi, and dashi-soy. Chef Morimoto actually served this dish in one of the Iron Chef American episodes.
Toro tartare with osetra caviar on top, wasabi, sour cream, seaweed paste, scallions, guacamole, and puffed rice. Best toro tartare I've ever had, between the tastes and presentation. The green olive looking fruit to the left is a ume plum and is incredible.
Melts in your mouth, so fresh. Loved the seaweed paste on the side. Quite small, $31
Toro tartare with wasabi, osetra caviar, sour cream, seaweed paste, guacamole, wasabi, puffed rice, and dashi-soy. Putting them all together is the way to go, but the seaweed is the best of all.
