Vadiaperti 2008 Fiano Di Avellino

Fiano is a fairly strongly flavored white grape variety which is used to make the highly regarded Fiano di Avellino in Campania. Avellino is a wine region in the hills inland from Naples. It has been in cultivation for more than 2,000 years. It is aromatic, possesses moderate to high acidity, and exhibits flavors of hazelnuts, herbs, and spice. It can be paired with a range of seafood and pasta dishes.
