It's an ice-cream made from wild orchid tubers and is eaten with a knife and fork. Chewy, soft, delicious. [Part of our Sydney Foodspotting Eatup: check us out here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/FoodspottingSydney/]
I was told that we finally had this ice cream how it should really be; hard as a block that needs to be cut with a knife. It was definitely different from the last time I had it! I'm so happy I could try the 'real' version ^_^
An ice cream that is shipped from Turkey, made from orchard flowers, with a chewy stretchy texture, and so hard you eat it with a knife and fork. Part of our Sydney Eat Up! Bored of using a spoon with icecream? Why not try a knife and fork type of icecream! Hard and chewy and doesn't seem to melt, the novelty alone is enough to entice, but if that's not enough, how about it being orchard flower flavour?
Turkish icecream - Unlike regular icecream, this Orchard Flower flavoured icecream has a chewy texture, and is so hard and thick you have to eat it with a knife and fork! Topped with crushed pistachio nuts and lately, with a drizzle of strawberry sauce.
