5/29/10: Moscato di Asti Gelee w/ Grapes and Apricots. It had a strong grape flavor.
Seth Andrzejewski Hey Erin! Just wanted to make sure you knew about the upcoming scavenger hunt on June 5th at the KCC Farmer's Market in Honolulu. We (Foodspotting founder Alexa and I) just wanted to meet and thank some of our top spotters in Hawaii. Hope you can make it! http://twtvite.com/fs-hnl -
Finally...got to Little Oven!! This was the 3rd time attempting the visit. Come to find out that they are only open Thursday-Saturday from 7p-12a but, on this night, they opened at 8pm but it was worth the wait.
This is definately a hole-in-the-wall restuarant that caters to deserts only and the menu specials changes almost every night with 3-5 different selections.
This night was a SEX AND THE CITY theme and offered an ambrosia, red velvet cake, canolis, and a dk chocolate cake. They also offered some sorbets, ice creames, and cookies all the time.
Tonight, we selected the ambrosia=super yummy and light with fresh fruit, marshmellows, and coconut, the canolis=light and fluffy with (1) stuffed with vanilla creme and (2) stuffed with chocolate creme and served with a side of fresh fruit, and dark chocolate rum cake=good but heavy (needed milk or coffee to follow).
This was definately worth the wait. We were told to subscribe to twitter 'cause that's how they let their customers know when their open...weird :-)

Meyer lemon ume kanten fruit parfait, sadly minus the mochi drops. In place of the mochi was more fruit. Still good, though.
