Festival Squash at University District Farmers Market in Seattle, WA

Cellphone Photo: Have you heard of Festival Squash? I tried this sweet, firm and delicious squash recently, and fell in love with it. Among all types of squash available, this one has a flavor that matches "auyamas" in Venezuela (similar to pumpkins in shape but with a different, sweet-slightly savory flavor). This one made a wonderful cream of squash that I highly recommend!
