I love calamari, so I order it fairly often. The calamari we had tonight at Jax Kitchen was some of the best I've ever had! Everyone in our party raved about it.
A number of details make this dish special. To start, the calamari is lightly coated in pretzels that have been ground down to a fine flour. It is also lightly drizzled with a house-made dijon vinaigrette (rather than served with a separate dipping sauce), and it's topped with fresh arugula greens. The calamari itself was cooked perfectly, without even the slightest hint of a rubbery texture. Awesome job, Jax Kitchen!
