Ropa Vieja at Bongo Brothers Cuban Food Truck in New York, NY

This heaping platter of tender, marinated, shredded beef was served over a bed of white rice and flavorful, saucy black beans with a salad and maduros (sweet plantains) on the side and even a came with a lime slice too. The beef was delicious and bountiful and made for a great bite with the rice and beans in each forkful. Even the salad was tasty with fresh, springy greens in a citrus dressing. The maduros had a nice caramelized exterior and served as a great sweet ending to the meal.
