Steamed Pierogies @ Veselka

Steamed was my favorite way to go by far! These thick, chewy dumplings let the flavors of the fillings really shine through.

You can mix and match fillings, so we got the two specials (Goat Cheese & Arugula [nom!], Ham & Gruyere [nom!]) and four standard ones (Sweet Potato, Spinach & Cheese, and Sauerkraut & Mushroom.) These were worth the trek back to Manhattan from JFK when our flight was delayed.
