Do you know the deal with Mexican Coca-Cola, Mr. Tommy? People desire it because they use real Sugar instead of Corn Syrup.

That's correct. Coke tastes much better with real sugar. Corn syrup is a less expensive and inferior substitute. They make a lot more profit from selling soda that way, or didwhen they started using it. A few years ago when we they started using corn in our gasoline the price of corn went up a lot. About the same time people started to realize that corn syrup is really not a healthy alternative. Some sodas have been changing the formula back to sugar. Many of the newer brands of sodas only use sugar.

Mexico uses table sugar, sucrose, whole American coke is made with corn syrup, fructose. Sucrose is more expensive on the US.

I went back to the latino Village today for lunch... Again, I bought the same coke. Before eating anything, I took several sips of the coke out of the bottle before I had any Hot food which may affect my taste... Upon drinking this coke with a clean taste in my mouth.... I could NOW taste the difference in this coke as appose to the coke I am use to drinking which has corn syrup in it. This coke tasted and reminded me of the OLD style coke which i remember having when I was a kid.... so there is a difference in taste.
