      This is a starter I made after eating it at restaurant Zee van Tijd at Ameland last Christmas, and cause we loved it so much I made it at home... It is toasted Frysian Sugarbread, Margret de Canard & thinly sliced Granny Smith Apple on the side some Foie Gras, Boeren Jongens & Foie Gras butter

          Here's the Sugarbread recipe http://mydutchbakingblog.blogspot.nl/2010/01/fryske-sukerbole-frisian-sugar-loaf.html And you can make the "Boeren Jongens" very easy, those are Raisins soaked in Brandy. And I made the Foie Gras mousse with softened Butter & Mayo, the rest was easy <3
