Frozen Beer at Kirin Frozen Beer Pop Up Shop

Kirin Frozen Beer Pop Up Shop

Annnd there t'is. And on a Tuesday night! It was interesting---the head is frozen like a slushy so it's supposed to keep the beer cold for about 30 minutes...well, they were gone in about 15, so I can't say whether that claim was true or The swirly soft serve top did get us all in good spirits, nonetheless :)

That is certainly different. It would be great on a hot summer day!

@MountainCatKing Yep, that's right---it drinks like a regular beer, except the top is frozen so it keeps the cold beer goodness cold.

This beer could be very popular with the weather in Thailand.

That is too cool! How did they do that? Do they come by with one of those whipped cream devices full of beer??? I want! I want! That's some serious head!

@Hannah yes! Oishii ne!!! @MethaTar Actually, that's probably a great idea! Actually, do Thai people put ice cubes in their beer? The Thai restaurant here serves beer on ice "Thai-style"---but when I was there I never saw it. @Alejandro Moreleon Cheers!!! @KikiB Serious head!!! LOL!!! Oh yes. VERY SERIOUS!!! It's served from a special tap, like a soft-serve ice cream dream machine :D

Apparently if you buy enough Kirin, you can collect points and try to win one those puppies (^-^) But I'd have to drink A LOT of beer this summer!

@Zebracorn, yep you're right. They serve beer ,room temperature, with ice cube in many restaurants. Many of my friends like it that way but I would prefer chilled beer serve with very cold glass. ChaiYo (= Cheers in English).

YAY!!! Amazing, thanks Metha Tar!!! You don't know how many times I've talked about this to people in Japan, and no one has known for sure. ChaiYO!!! I'll never forget this word :D and it will be useful maybe this winter when I make it to Thailand!!!
