about bad and good photos: i feel very stupid when i'm at restaurant and i start to look at illumination, position and focus trying to do a good photo to spot here, while all my friends look at me very badly because they are waiting for me to eat! it happens only to me?

@ipomea, welcome to the club! Lol! I would say there are two types of people, foodspotters and then the ones that have to put up with them!!! Lol!!! But you keep at it!!! They more you spot the more natural it becomes!!! Even amost your friends and family. I'll ask a waiter to change our seating for a better one with better light if its available, and i have come to a point where my friends will ask me (most of the time) where do i want to sit for better pictures!! It ventually just becomes natural. You just share with us your pains and you get through!!! Lol!
