It was only a matter of time before I finally got to try BrisketTown's meat. I knew I needed to first try the unadulterated brisket as opposed to the sandwiches that were calling out to me, for scientific purposes. Objectively, this is certainly up there with the best in NYC. The meat is extremely tender and literally melts in your mouth. I don't know if it was the portion I was given, but I don't think I got very much crusty bark, so I found the meat to be lacking in spice and flavor. The little bit of exterior I did have had a nice peppery bite, but there wasn't enough of the spice to go around the rest of the meat.
