Calling it “life-changing” might be a bit of a stretch, but this tuna sandwich is arguably the best I’ve ever had. As others who’ve eaten it have noted, the tuna itself is impossibly light, taking on an almost fluffy cream cheese-like texture and weight. It’s also not drenched in mayo—as so many tuna sandwiches can be—which is refreshing, to say the least. The poppy seed-studded roll is, of course, fantastic, straddling the line between chewy and crunchy just so, giving it enough heft to support the tuna without tasting or feeling stale. Never has Albacore been so exciting or, dare I say it, transcendent.
