          haha - you are kind, but yours are already great. I went to your photos because I read what lens you are using in the comments of someone else's photo. Envious. :)

          It was a lot of trial and error (thank you borrowlenses.com) But I found the 28mm 1.8 worked really well in regard to light in dimly lit dining rooms and how close I could get to the subject.

          I love borrowlenses. :) I'm aching for a wide prime, but they are more limited on the Nikon side, and the new one that they released (24mm1.4) is out of my current budget.

          The Nikon 24mm 1.4G is a sweet lens! I actually use an old Nikon 35mm f2 on my Canons via an adapter. It produces a unique image that I can't duplicate with Canon lenses (http://goo.gl/5jiPF) example.
